About the event

This training for educators uses the stories and science of adverse childhood experiences and intergenerational healing to increase the capacity of educators to dismantle substance use stigma in the school environment and within students and staff.

  • Understand systemic drivers of toxic stress and trauma in students
  • Recognize how substance use stigma exists in students and within the school environment
  • Incorporate trauma-informed and anti-oppressive approaches to increase trust with students
